Every once in a while I come across a site that inspires me, so
I'll record the address on a post-it note hoping to find time to go
back. The following sites are this month's finds. I thought you might
like to check them out for some warm fuzzies!
Cana
Mission I heard these people on the radio just the other day and
their story is such a beautiful one. On a trip to Korea, some
missionaries found that the dog tags of actual United States military
men, women and even canine's were being sold as souveniers. They used
sixty thousand dollars of their own funds, to buy up all that they
could. This site has an index with names of each person's tags. Go
check it out, maybe you can reunite someone with their tags!
Soldiers
Angels Whether you agree with the current war or not, there are
soldiers over there longing to be prayed for. Go to this site and
adopt your very own. Better yet, adopt one and begin a lifelong
friendship.
The
Fat Man Walking You may have read about this man. Weighing in at
over four hundred pounds and suffering from depression, he decided to
change his life by walking from California to New York City. Today,
over a year after he began, he's crossed into New York, completing his
goal. WHAT an inspiring story!
My
Heritage This is just a fun site, period. Follow the link to a
page where you can upload a photo of yourself. This site has free
software that will scan your face and return a list of celebrities who
resemble you. It's hilarious!
Tina
Michelle This is one of my favorite angel readers. She is quite
expensive but if you can afford it, she's very insightful. I visit
this site fairly often because she has a lot of interesting articles
and you can sign up to take classes with her live. Also be sure and
check out her yearly cruise. One of these days I will be a presenter!

for Someday ~A Personal Reflection By: Cathy |

I guess at this stage of my life I'm getting tired of waiting for
someday ..... the someday when everything is going to fall into place,
where bounty abounds and I put out my full-time healer sign on the
door - never to look back again to my 9-5 job that currently sustains
me and my family. When do I start living the life I was meant to live
and following the passion of my heart and soul's purpose? What have I
been waiting for all this time? What has stopped me from following my
dreams - fear of failure, fear of success, the relationships I knew I
had to leave behind? When will I stop living this life for everyone
except me? I wonder why I always thought everyone else's issues were
so much more significant than mine and why I kept putting my goals
off. I started playing the lottery. I figured I'm lucky enough and I
really needed a big break so that I could get on with the
happily-ever-after part. I wasn’t even greedy about it. I didn’t
need the recent windfall of $340 million. I would have been perfectly
happy with just a few million. My dreams as a whole seemed so big,
almost like a story book fantasy. Is that possible? What about these
relationships in my life that no longer served a purpose? Why haven't
I let them go in peace? Was I afraid of spending some time alone? And
what about the healthy body I've been meaning to have - oh yeah and my
spotless house? I had high hopes of hiring a cleaning service, a
nutritionist, a cook, a personal trainer and someone to clean up after
my pets and if they wanted to write out my bills too, well that would
be icing on the cake. I swear I'd have it all if I just had more time.

Trust
"Believe in yourself, and have faith that God and the angels
are with you. Ask them to help you to lose the fears that block you
from enjoying full faith.
Your angels know that you've been disappointed in the past. These
experiences may have eroded your faith in yourself, other people, or
even God. However, the angels remind you of the importance of holding
on to your faith.
The angels wish to emphasize the value of self- trust. They know
that you, like everyone, have made mistakes in the past. However,
these mistakes have not eroded your true nature. You still have
omnipresent God within you, and God is infallible. The angels ask you
to trust in God and to trust in them. They will help you trust
yourself."

~The following is a reprint from an email I received
recently. I think it speaks volume's! ~
"A friend was telling me the other day about how she was
talking to her mother on the cell phone as she was driving on her way
home from work, when suddenly her mother said, "You know, you
never call me except when you're driving around. It's as if you're
squeezing me in and don't want to take the time to call me properly
when you're at home."
Well, needless to say, my friend was taken aback. She never thought
of it that way before. Have you had an experience like that? It seems
as if we often don't give our full attention to people when we
communicate with them.
I know, for myself, I often find myself doing some other task, like
watering the plants or washing dishes, as I talk on the phone to
someone. Maybe it's because we tend to get caught up in the idea of
"multi-tasking," and we feel we just don't have the luxury
of doing one thing at a time. (And wouldn't you know it -- nine times
out of ten, when you split your attention as you multi-task, all of
those tasks you're trying to squeeze in aren't done as well as if you
had simply devoted your full attention to one and got it out of the
way, and then proceeded to the next.)
But no matter what, our communications with others deserve our full
attention. After all, it's how we connect to others, develop
relationships, and share information and a part of ourselves. As the
author Herman Melville has said, "We cannot live only for
ourselves. A thousand fibers connect us with our fellow men; and among
those fibers, as sympathetic threads, our actions run as causes, and
they come back to us as effects."
As for me, I'm rethinking how I communicate. How about you?"

Who is toxic in your personal life? Is there someone whom you
absolutely dread having to be around? Try as you may, you cannot
please this person, evoke a sense of pride from this person and
sometimes, it's impossible to get anything but negativity out of each
encounter you have with this person. How do you feel after having
spent your time around her? Do you feel good or more often than not,
do you leave her feeling "less than" or perhaps "put in
your place"? Do you go out of your way to guard your words so as
not to bring any wrath upon your head? Do you sacrifice your own
happiness in order to keep the peace with her?
If you've recongized even one of these characteristics, I urge you
to check out the book below as it is simply wonderful at defining how
to cope with Toxic people and how to know when it's time to just cut
your losses and move forward in life. It's a wonderful read and very
easy to understand. What's better, if you can actually put the
exercises into practice in your own life, you'll be on your way to a
happy, more peaceful life. Put yourself first for a change. Give this
book a try!!

Sometimes in life, things happen and we don't know WHY or HOW
they happened. It seems at times we just WAKE up in the middle of
our lives and we are baffled as to how we arrived at the place we
happen to be. Sometimes its a good thing, sometimes not, but I'd
be willing to bet it happens to all of us at some point in time.
Have you ever stopped the wheels of your life from turning, for
just a brief moment, to reflect on how you have evolved through
the years? Do you now understand why certain people were in your
life at one point and they aren't any more? Do you remember some
people and others names escape you? Do you recall how you once
were so infatuated you thought you'd literally DIE if a certain
someone didn't fall head over heels in love with you immediately?
Do you know what THAT person is doing right now? Is it STILL the
most burning desire in your heart? Doubtful.
