Deep Thoughts 7

What happens when disaster strikes? In light of the events of September 11th, 2001, have you asked yourself this question? Have you stopped to marvel at the beautiful things that have occurred as a result of this tragedy? Have you asked yourself why it had to take something of this magnitude to cause people to come to their senses? Have you wondered why in light of disaster there are so many heart-warming stories coming to light?

People all over are asking the obvious question, "Why". Why do they hate us? Why would anyone want to attack the United States? Aren't we the world's best humanitarians? Aren't we the first ones to send troops to help countries who can't see past war as the obvious solution to problems?

I've been posting a lot of things on Trinity's message board about the Afghanistan people..the women, the Taliban, the people from there who now live here...in the hopes that you can see one thing. Ignorance. The people who did this actually believed that they were doing it for God. We as a people KNOW this is wrong and its evil, but the people who perpetrated this evil didn't. They were brain washed. There is no time for further hate. There is plenty of time to ask for mercy.

So here I am with a simple message. Pray. Eliminate the nonsense of your life. If your brother didn't return the hand saw last year and you are still mad about it, GET OVER IT. Let GO of anything that is negative. LET GO of anything that is negative, period. Instead, count your Blessings, Bless everyone you come into contact with and prepare...prepare for a new world...nicer, happier, healthier and safer.

Those who are able to let go and let God will be the ones who remain safe. This is all there is to be. Think about it. Know God. Know love. Know safety. Period.
